PhotoLoc is a very simple app that does one thing, and one thing only: show you where your photo's were taken.
Pick a photo, press a button and see in Google Maps the exact location and time the photo was taken. It's that simple.
Works with photo's taken in the past. No need to have the app open when the photo is taken and no need to add Geo location tags to the photo afterwards.
Version 1.0 has been submitted to Apple for Review.

The app had been long rejected by Apple. Not for using internal API's or anything. But because the app reads data (NSData instead of images) from the camera album and that's a nono.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIOS 4 brings new API's to do just that so maybe I'll look into trying another iteration of this app.
Interestingly, there were some (or at least one) apps that did the same thing as this app that _were_ accepted by apple. I downloaded one and it did the thing that Apple rejected PhotoLoc for. Guess PhotoLoc was just unlucky.
